Renowned Speakers At Int’l Architectural Design Conference 2013

Kota Kinabalu: Renowned speakers from around Asia region have been invited to talk at the International Architectural Design Conference 2013 organised by the Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) Sabah chapter.

The conference is scheduled to be held on March 19 at the Magellan Sutera here from 8am to 5pm and will feature Hong Yi from Sabah where she will talk about architecture and art, said organising chairman James Wong Kein Peng at a press conference, yesterday.

Other speakers are Raymond Woo (Singapore) on managing a large scale project in an architectural project, Valentino Audrito (Indonesia) on architecture art and fashion, Shigeru Aoki (Japan) on refining architecture and Adrian Iredale (Australia) on housing complex forms.

Registration for the conference is RM180 for corporate, graduate; students RM120 and others RM200, he said, adding there will be product presentation by Bluescope Lysaght.

PAM Sabah chapter chairman, Lo Su Yin said the objectives of the conference were to promote the passion for design and architecture among PAM fraternity and other building industry professionals and the public.

"It is essential to share, learn and encourage each other in pursuing good design as well as to create a sharing collaborative design community and promote relationship building and networking among PAM members, building industry professionals and the creative public," added Lo.
