Taekwondo Coaching Course

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Brunei Darussalam Taekwondo Association has joined hands with the Coaching and Sports Development Unit of the Youth and Sports Department in organising the Taekwondo Level III Coaching Course.

Present as the guest-of-honour at the opening ceremony, which was held at the Commonwealth Games Room of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, was Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, the Acting Senior Administrative Officer of the Youth and Sports Department.

The three-day course aims to improve the coaching skills and knowledge of the martial art in the hope of meeting the country's aspirations of 'advancing sports for the country'.

There will be a total of 34 participants who are 18 years old and above and hold a black belt in taekwondo, and who are active in clubs and associations across Brunei. They will be learning their trade from two coaches who are part of the State of Sabah Taekwondo Association in, Malaysia.
