Bandar Seri Begawan - Syasya Badrina bte Hj Awang representing Brunei I was the chess champion of the 3rd National Sports Competition for Primary Schools held at the Perpindahan Lambak Kanan Primary School.

Alif Syammary Akmal bin Samsul also representing Brunei I was second followed by Ahmad Fauzan bin Hj Jaafar Ali of Brunei IIA, Md Syafiq bin Abd Rahman of Brunei IV, Muhd Eyzan Naqib bin Rozimi of Temburong, Zulhakimi bin Kamis of Brunei IIB, Abd Qawi bin Adanan of Brunei I, Hazim Husaini bin Henry of Brunei III, Md Syafiq bin Soffery of Brunei IIA and Md Azwan bin Azishalzri of Brunei III.

The guest-of-honour, the Acting Director of Co-Curriculum Department, Ministry of Education, Pg Suhaimi bin Pg Hj Bakar presented the prizes to the 10 winners.
