Bandar Seri Begawan - The 6th Primary Inter-School Team Invitational Chess Championship concluded on Sunday with seven teams participating - St Georges School, Pusar Ulak Primary School, Datu Ahmad Primary School, Tungku Primary School, St Andrews School, Pulaie Primary School and Anggerek Desa Primary School.

The champion was Datu Ahmad Primary School, followed by Pusar Ulak Primary School, Tungku Primary School and Anggerek Desa Primary School.

Special prizes were also distributed to best players of respective boards, winner for Board 1 was Alif Syammary Akmal bin Samsul from Datu Ahmad Primary School, winner of Board 2 was Ikram Musayyadi bin Hj Ahmad Fawzi from Tungku Primary School, Board 3 by Ryan Aldwin Lee Reyes from St Georges School, Board 4 by Muhammad Fikri bin Hj Masri from Pusar Ulak and 5'h Board by Siti Noor Mardianah bte Kamaruddin from Pusar Ulak Primary School.

The event was organised by the Brunei Chess Federation committee members and special appreciation to chief, arbiter GM Vakhidov Tahir and assistant arbiters Kamarunsalehin Kamis, Md Aliuddin and Md Ahsanuddien for ensuring the event went smoothly.

The Vice-President of the Brunei Chess Federation, Pg Abd Rahman PLW Yussof gave away the prizes to the winners.
