Bandar Seri Begawan - Participants of the three-day Basic Course Sports Massage Level 1 were presented with certificates by the guest-of-honour Dayang Mariam bte Ulat at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, Berakas yesterday.

The course was collaboratively organised by the Sports Division and the Training Division and Resource Centre of the Youth and Sports Department of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

The assistant athletic trainer, Awang Maqnun bin Wahab said the course taught the participants about the function of the bones and muscles and the right methods in massaging.

The guest-of-honour also presented certificate of appreciation and souvenir to the finest participants; Awang Haji Madiman bin Abd Majid, Coaching and Sports Development Unit of the Youth and Sport Department; and Dayang Hajah Rubiah bte Haji Othman, Medical Centre and Sports Research of the Youth and Sport Department.
