Bandar Seri Begawan - The 1st Brunei Open Taekwondo Championship 2012 organised by the Brunei Darussalam Taekwondo Association (BTA) concluded yesterday at the Rimba II Secondary School.
Eighty taekwondo athletes from seven clubs ranging from junior category aged 8-10 years old, 11-13 years old, 14-17 years old and senior category aged 18 years old and above competed in the two-day tournament.
Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar Secondary School dominated the competition with 11 gold medals. Adey TKD grabbed four gold" medals while BSRC, MS ABDB and National Team each won three gold medals and Rick TKD took two gold medals.
Hjh Suriani binti Norhashim, Principal of Rimba II Secondary School presented the prizes to the winners of the tournament.
