Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei I paddlers emerged the champion of the 3rd National Sports Competition for Primary Schools at the Lambak Kanan Primary School yesterday.
Brunei I paddlers won all the four categories at stake with Mohammad Luqman Hii bin Abdullah Qayyum Hii winning the boy's singles title, Lim Chin Ann and Harold bin Mohammad (boy's doubles title), Fiona Hii Wee Ting (girl's singles title) and Kiing Sii Siing and Lim Mei Lin (girls doubles title).
Meanwhile Mohammad Haiman bin Roshidi also from Brunei I won second place, while Ak Mohd Sufi Fakhullah bin Pg Md Sufian from Brunei IIB came in third in the boys singles category.
In the girls singles category, Samantha Lee Ham Ron from Belait was second with See Tying Ni from Brunei 1 in third place.
In the boy's doubles category Mohammad Noorlizan bin Awang Mohammad Yusra and Mohammad Aizuddin bin Roshidi won second place with Mohammad Aqil Akmal bin Hj Abdul Rahman and Mohammad Syami Fadhillah bin Md Helmi in third place. Both teams represented Brunei I.
In the girls doubles category Nur Ezzatunnadirah bte Muhammad Idham and Nurul Suhainah Syuhaidah bte Suhaili from Temburong obtained second place while Siti Nurul Munirah bte Abdullah Sufi and Wasilah bte Suhardi representing Brunei 1 came in third.
The guest-of-honour, Director of Administration and Services, Ministry of Education, Pg Shahminan bin Pg Hj Md Salleh presented the prizes to the winners.
