Brunei Teams For WAITGC Grand Final

Selangor - Two teams from Brunei Darussalam, YuYu Depenyu and Kabak2 qualified for the Grand Final WAITGC 2013 in November 26-28 at the Mines Resort & Golf Club, Selangor. The two teams played for qualifying round 3 WAITGC 2013 at Penang Golf Club and Penang Golf Resort for 4 days from May 13-16. The Kabak2 Team were in third place in gross while YuYu Depenyu were the winner in nett stableford.

More than 20 teams from Australia, Sweden, Thailand, Malaysia, India and Brunei Darussalam took part in the qualifying. The next tournament qualifying for round 4 will be held in Selangor from June 17-20. Photo shows the Brunei teams in jubilation.

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have handed Brunei Darussalam a $5,000 fine for pulling out of the AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers at the 11th hour back in March, Reuters reported. The AFC also reminded Brunei to plan better in future.

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Brunei Veteran Table Tennis Championships 2013 organised by the Brunei Amateur Table Tennis Association came to a close on Sunday with Wong Khuan Shang winning the Age 40-49 category, Kafli Anis winning the Age 50-59 Category, Chee Gil Su winning the Age 60-69 Category, and Wong Khuan Shang and Douglas Lim winning the Doubles Category.
