Thought of the Day:
"For many of us, there's a gap between the compass and the clock-between what's deeply important to us and the way we spend our time."

Bandar Seri Begawan - Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) was established 20 years ago with the primary purpose of providing a platform for charitable donations from His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and the royal family, signifying the high level of care and attention towards the Rakyat and residents of Brunei.

On September 17, the foundation contributed 35 wheelchairs for use by intending Haj pilgrims whilst in the Holy Land. Twenty wheelchairs would be placed in Mecca, 10 in Medina and five in Arafah or Mina.

The contribution was received by Acting Director of Haj Management, Awg Hj Abdul Rajid bin Hj Mohd Salleh, as a representative of the pilgrims.

The 35 wheelchairs were recently handed over by Awg Hj Abdul Rajid, in his capacity as Head of the Administrative Haj Bithah team, to the Head of the Medical Haj Bithah team.

The contribution is aimed at helping the Haj Affairs Department and the Haj Medical Services Unit of the RIPAS Hospital in providing suitable facilities, and is meant to fully benefit all pilgrims from Brunei Darussalam who require the use of a wheelchair.
