Workplace Etiquette Based On Islamic Teachings

Berakas - The Atrium of the Airport Mall, Berakas was packed as the first of many presentations by local and international speakers, organised by Ihtifal Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) took place in which about a hundred individuals participated in the free panel on "Workplace Etiquette according to the teachings of Islam" by Ustaz Haji Mail bin Besar and Cikgu All Yusri bin Haji Gafor.

The two speakers handled questions from both the public, and the moderator, Haji Saharuddin Haji Patra, a member of the Syariah Affairs Department. Issues were tackled and advice were given on topics such as motivating positive workers and increasing the quality of an individual's work, among others, with accordance to the Islamic faith.

"The panel is just the tip of the series of talks and discussions Perbadanan TAIB has planned," according to a representative of the Perbadanan.

The same venue will be hosting Puan Hajah Rohani binti Datuk Haji Shahrir, a prolific author and sought after presenter, as she delivers her "Ke Mana Wang Anda" presentation on Friday January 4 at 2.30pm. Members of the public are encouraged to arrive at the venue early to avoid disappointment, as seats are limited.

Ihtifal TAIB is an annual initiative organised by Perbadanan TAIB which will take place at the Airport Mall, Berakas, over a course of four days, from Thursday, January 3 to Sunday, January 6. Throughout the year, Ihtifal TAIB will be organised in all four districts.
