Tutong - A saloon vehicle and a 4WD were yesterday involved in an accident at Kampong Keriam in Tutong.

According to an eyewitness, the 2.15pm incident saw the four wheel drive vehicle colliding with the car which ultimately ended up in a nearby ditch with the woman driver sustaining injuries.

Following the accident, nearby villagers, road users as well as KEKAL Motorcycle Club members who were passing through the area, lent a hand in getting the injured woman out of the vehicle.

Shortly after, the paramedics arrived and ferried the injured woman to DPMMAMB Hospital in Tutong for medical treatment.

Police personnel from Tutong CSSU and Tutong Police Station were also on hand to investigate the accident and assist in directing the traffic.
