Sungai Tujoh - Twenty-eight passengers of a foreign-registered public bus headed to the capital were held up at the Sungai Tujoh Control Post by the Royal Brunei Police Force after parts of a dangerous weapon were found on board the bus by the Royal Customs and Excise enforcement officers.
Parts of the dangerous weapon, believed to be a gun, were found when the enforcement officers at the control post conducted a check at around 9am yesterday morning after the driver declared the items.
The weapon parts included a barrel.
The Royal Brunei Police Force was contacted to conduct a thorough investigation.
The bus was cordoned off for a complete search while the passengers and driver were questioned.
