Bandar Seri Begawan - A group of 100 students from Year 1 to Year 5 of Telanai Primary School, accompanied by seven teachers, yesterday made an educational visit to the Language and Literature Bureau (DBP) Library in the capital.
The delegation was greeted by Hjh Rokayah binti Hj Mohd Noor, Librarian Officer of DBP.
At the start of the visit, the students were given a brief explanation by Hj Zulkifli bin Hj Md Zain, Library Assistant Level 1 of DBP.
The students and teachers then went on a tour of the library, guided by Naruliswady Hj Samaih, who stated that the objective of the visit was to foster the students' knowledge with hopes that the students will learn more about the important role of libraries in their studies.
The students were also given the opportunity to visit the reading rooms located on the second and third floors of the building, as well as to participate in activities organised by the staff of DBP.
