Jerudong - A conversion ceremony for a Vietnamese inmate was held yesterday at the Jerudong Prison. It was conducted by officials from the Islamic Dakwah Centre. Fifty-three inmates have embraced Islam since 1975. Present at the ceremony was Awg Hj Ismail bin Hj Murat, Acting Director of Prisons who also handed over souvenirs to the new convert. Also present was the Acting Assistant Director of the Islamic Dakwah Centre, Ustaz Haji Abd Aziz bin Haji Kahan.
