Bandar Seri Begawan - A total of four delegations from the An-Nur Islamic Centre, University Technology Petronas (UTP) Malaysia paid a 'mahabbah' visit to Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) yesterday, where the itinerary was held in the Multipurpose Hall, Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque.
Leading the delegations of the UTP Malaysia was Ustazah Mashitah binti Sabdin from the Islamic Lecture, Management and Humanitarian Department of the UTP.
Presenting the opening remarks for the 'mahabbah' visit was Awg Hj Harun bin Hj Junid, Acting Permanent Secretary of MoRA, as he highlighted in his speech that with the strong bonding between the MoRA and UTP, the relationship would improve the cooperation and mutual assistance between each other in implementing the growth and spreading of Islamic Dakwah in the region.
Delivering a brief talk regarding the functions and roles of MoRA was Dyg Nurulhuda binti Adinin, Public Relations Officer of MoRA, and continued with a cooperate video of MoRA and Jame' 'Mr. Hassanil Bolkiah.
Awg Hj Harun handed a souvenir to one of the delegations of the UTP before the entourage was given a tour around of Jame' 'Asr, as well as of the facilities available in the Mosque.
The entourage paid a visit to the Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute recently where they were given a briefing and a tour of the environment and facilities available in the Institute.
The entourage was also given a chance to mingle and socialise with the lecturers and students of the Institute.
