Bandar Seri Begawan - Following its annual let's' campaign, Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru) is getting ready to hold what is tipped to be the biggest customer event this year: "Let's Extreme, Green Adventure for Nature" which is set to be held from Friday, December 7 to Sunday, December 9. The race will start and finish at Jerudong Park Amphitheatre, according to a press release.
More than 350 teams consisting of two participants in each team have registered for the event. The participants will be referred to as 'troopers' for this event, in order to prepare the teams for the actual event and hype up the excitement,
TelBru has invited all troopers to attend an official briefing for the event. The teams were divided into two sessions, morning and afternoon sessions in which both the sessions were held yesterday at Dewan Amar Pahlawan, Ministry of Communications.
This year, the three main concepts for this event is to go green, meaning to understand the importance of saving energy, electricity and water as well as recycling; to explore unseen sceneries of Brunei; and to get to know more about Brunei's history and facts.
During the briefing, troopers listened to presentations by TelBru officials on the game information, the rules and regulations and the game flow.
Prizes worth more than B$70,000 are up for grabs for the first 30 teams to score the highest points in the race. The grand prize is a 13 days and 10 nights trip to London, Paris and Rome.
Second prize is a six days and five nights trip to Melbourne, Australia and the third prize is a six days and five nights trip to Dubai.
The fourth and fifth prizes are three days and two nights trip to Beijing and three days and two nights trip to Jakarta, respectively.
