Bandar Seri Begawan - The Times Square Shopping Centre announced the winners of its month-long Ramadhan Photo Contest during a prize presentation ceremony at the shopping centre yesterday.

The Ramadhan Best Photo Contest was open to the public from July 27 to August 27, where shoppers simply had to snap photos of themselves, their friends or family with the 3-D decoration at the Atrium in Times Square and then email the photo to the management. The photos were then uploaded on the Brunei Times Square Shopping Centre Facebook Page.

The judging of the Best Photo Contest was based on 70 per cent judges voting and 30 per cent on the number of 'likes' on each photo gets on the Facebook page. The prizes up for grabs for the Times Square Ramadhan Best Photo contest were worth a total of B$700. The first prize was B$300, B$200 for the second prize and B$100 for the third prize. There were two consolation prizes worth B$50 each.

First place went to Nur'Alimah binti Abdullah Guevarra, whose photo of her daughter posing in a 3-D decoration also earned her the most 'likes' on Facebook - a total of 408 'likes'. Second place went to Rosy Lyiana bte Ramlee and third place went to Mashuara Hj Ali. The two consolation prize winners were Kassim bin Abdul Gani and Aqilah binti Hassan.

The Marketing Manager, Chiu Siew Yii, was at hand to present the prizes to the winners.
