Bandar Seri Begawan - A team of 10 law enforcement officers from the Immigration Department, led by a Senior Immigration Officer, carried out surprise inspections on foreign workers performing maintenance work at a cemetery.

One of the foreign workers was brought to the station after having failed to produce a valid Immigration pass, but was later released after his employer brought in his passport.

A car workshop situated near the cemetery was also scrutinised.

Two foreigners who 'were working there at the time were brought in for further questioning after they failed to produce valid Immigration papers.
