Bandar Seri Begawan - His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, as a personal representative of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, and HRH Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah yesterday departed for New York to attend the 67th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Accompanying HRH the Crown Prince and HRH Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah are HRH Prince 'Abdul Muntaqim and HRH Princess Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah.

Before departing, a doa was read by Pehin Datu Imam Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Hamid bin Bakal.

Present at the Brunei International Airport to bid farewell to Their Royal Highnesses were YAM Pengiran-Pengiran Cheteria; Cabinet Ministers; Members of Councils; the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces; the Commissioner of Police; and Permanent Secretaries at the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade; along with their spouses.

The General Debate for the 67th Session of the UN General Assembly will commence today at the UN Headquarters in New York.
