Bandar Seri Begawan- the Empire Hotel and Country Club will be organising, the Empire Biathlon Championship, a fund raising event on June 3. Biathlon is an athletic contest in which participants compete in two or more events in succession.

The Empire Biathlon Championship 2012 will be focusing on running and cycling.The event is open to the public with the categories; Male/Female Single - 40- km Cycling and 13-km Run, Male/Female Relay - 40-km Road Bike and 13-km Run, Male/Female Relay - 40-km Mountain Bike and 13-km Run, Male/Female 13-km Run, Fun Cycling for 17-km and Fun Run 5-km.
