Bandar Seri Begawan - Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) hosted a media appreciation event Chemed 'Wild West' to express BIBD's gratitude to the members of the local media and bloggers.

The event was held at Emperor's Court located at Hua Ho Manggis Mall on Tuesday.

The evening began with welcoming remarks from the bank's Managing Director, Mr Javed Ahmad whereby he thanked all media for their generous and continuous support for BIBD.

He added: "The media proved to be a very instrumental platform for dissemination of information to the mass public."

Throughout 2012, the media have helped BIBD to broadcast its achievements and promote its products to customers and members of the public.

Throughout the dinner, the management of BIBD took the opportunity to build and strengthen their ties with members of the media, who dressed in their cowboy and cowgirl outfits.

Borneo Bulletins reporters, Izah Azahari and Jake Ten bagged the 'Best Custome' awards for both female and male categories respectively.
