The Brunei Hotel's Choices Café Offers Cuisine 'From Spain With Love'

Bandar Seri Begawan - Following favourable response from the public for the Australian Prime Rib promo, which has been extended due to popular demand, The Brunei Hotel's Choices Café is coming up with yet another food promotion - 'From Spain with Love'

Once again, Chef Dian has come up with a delicious menu of Spanish cuisine consisting of appetisers, soups, main dishes and desserts. The café will also serve a non-alcoholic version of Sangria, a popular fruit punch among Spanish nationals.

At B$18 per dish, the a. la carte offerings include roasted beef with Spanish romesco sauce and aubergine, baked marinated chicken with mixed bean cassoulet aioli and calamares fritos over Spanish vegetables paella.

Other dishes include cod fillet on Spanish tortilla and brava salsa, and large shrimp skewered with salsa verde - both of which are priced at $22; and pintxos basque (pierced varieties of tapas platter), garlic shrimp, smoked salmon, smoked beef, chicken capsicum olive skewer and honeydew almond salad for $24.

While these dishes are available daily for lunch and dinner, Choices Café will also have a buffet promo for lunch and dinner on Wednesdays and Thursdays only.

Priced at $15 per person, the buffet line will feature caldo gallego - a traditional soup dish of Galicia, Spain - which is nutritious and a great way to .warm up and is served with toasted bread.

Appetisers include Spanish romesco seafood pasta salad, cold cut platter (mixed lettuce, roasted capsicum, herbal olives, mushroom chutney, bay leaves and caramelised onions, garlic tomatoes, potato frittata) and assorted canapes.

To wash it. all down, Chef Dian has prepared sweet temptations in the form of creme Catalana (caramelised custard), Spanish bar cake, mantecados (Spanish crumble cake), churros (cinnamon doughnut stick fritters) and pestinos (Spanish honey cake).

Customers dining in on Wednesdays or Thursdays will be able to choose either to have just the a la carte or with an add-on Spanish buffet spread at an additional discounted price of B$10 per person.

`From Spain with Love' will be available to customers from November 26 until December 31.
