Temporary Road Closure For National Day Rehearsals

Bandar Seri Begawan - As the 29th National Day celebrations draw closer, the Traffic Control and Investigation Department of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) has announced that several main roads leading to Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar 'Ali Saifuddien in the capital will temporarily be closed from February 19 to 22 to accommodate rehearsals.

The road closure will begin 7.15am and will include roads at the traffic junctions at Bangunan Ba'adiah, Jalan Hj Basir, Jalan Stoney, Jalan Sultan, Jalan Cator, Jalan Residency and several routes in Jalan Tutong leading to the capital.

Regular commuters are advised to use alternative routes, while road users intending to access the capital can use alternative routes from Jalan Kota Batu, Jalan Tutong as well as Jalan Kumbang Pasang.

Other alternative routes are Hassanal Bolkiah and the Muara Tutong Highway, Jalan Muara Lama, Jalan Jangsak and Jalan Gadong.
