Bandar Seri Begawan - More than 200 people participated in the 'Riadah Hijrah' walkathon yesterday in the Temburong District. The event was held to mark the new Islamic year 1434 Hijrah, as well as to collect funds for the Takmir fund and Temburong District Orphans Fund. The guest of honour was the Acting Temburong District Officer, Awg Suhara Fadzali bin Haji Mohd Yusop. During the event, participants walked a distance of three kilometres, starting at the Labu Estate Mosque before ending at the Surau of Kg Piasau-Piasau in Mukim Labu - Noorhamizan Haji Mohd Mosbi.
