Teenage Girl Claims Beauty Salon Scarred Her Physically And Mentally

headline-1

Bandar Seri Begawan - A normal day spent pampering oneself turned into a catastrophic tragedy for a teenage girl in February who received laser burns on her forearms after attending a Laser Hair Removal treatment session at a beauty salon located in the capital.

In a disappointing turn of events, the beauty salon, which is being blamed for extreme negligence by the girl's parents, offered the package to the teenager based on promises of providing treatment without pay.

Instead of claiming full responsibility for causing harm to the teenager, the beauty salon has instead pushed her parents to buy more products from them to "help" with the healing of the extreme scarring on her arms.

When the parents of the teenager refused to pay for these products following the incident, the salon resorted to handing out small quantities of other products, most of which has not helped with the treatment of the teenagers scars.

Since February, permanent marks have remained on the girl's arms and seven months later, the scarring is still fully visible.

Even after the physical pain finally stopped, the teenage girl is now suffering mentally due to the scarring of her arms.

According to observers, it is important for these salons to always accept responsibility for whatever mishaps they may cause to their customers and accept the consequences of such actions. These salons must also only employ fully trained staff to handle machinery.
