Teaching Staff From Malaysia's MoE Calls On Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Department of Curriculum Development, Ministry of Education received a goodwill visit from the Ministry of Education of Malaysia at the main hall of the new Ministry of Education building, where they were first given a briefing.

The visiting group, with a total of 38 teachers from Bukit Rimau National School, was headed by the Principal of the school, Tuan Haji Abdul Aziz bin Saidin.

The visit was made with the objective of forging a tighter bond between the two ministries, while also observing Brunei's 21st Century Education System (SPN21) in terms of management and implementation, as well as to discuss topics that will be beneficial for both parties.

The visiting programme is also a continuation of the 'Joint-Working Group' work placement of officials in the Department of Curriculum Development, Ministry of Education of Brunei to the Department of Curriculum Development, Ministry of Education of Malaysia during May 6-19 this year.

The group visit will continue on November 21, to Dato Marsal Primary School, Brunei II.
