Bandar Seri Begawan - As a supportive measure towards creating awareness amongst parents and students on the importance of planning for a better future, Takaful Brunei Keluarga Sdn Bhd (TBK) participated in the Student Entrepreneurship Development Expo (SEDEX) by promoting three of its savings products: Takaful Nur Savings, Takaful Retirement and Takaful Education.

In the expo held from November 13 to 14, 2012 at the Airport Mall, parents and students were given the opportunity to understand more on how TBK can help them save money at an earlier stage to avoid financial burdens in the upcoming years.

The expo was launched in the afternoon by the guest of honour, the Deputy State Mufti, Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Raja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Hj Awg Suhaili bin Hj Mohiddin.

Takaful Nur Savings is an affordable short-term savings plan that ensures the protection of the participants and their investments. With a minimum saving period of one year and a maximum of five years, Takaful Nur Savings provides 24 hours worldwide coverage protection against death and/or total permanent disability worth B$10,000.

In addition, the applicant may opt for additional coverage for personal accidents and/ or critical illnesses (such as Alzheimer's disease, Aorta Graft surgery, blindness, cancer, etc) worth B$50,000 and B$15,000 respectively.

Takaful Retirement, on the other hand, will protect one's retirement dreams.

Takaful Education is there to provide a systematic savings approach for parents to plan their children's education.
