Bandar Seri Begawan - The Fire and Rescue Team, Operations Branch 'D' of the Fire and Rescue Department, Ministry of Home Affairs continued the delivery of fire extinguishers to volunteers of the Fire and Rescue Volunteer Scheme of Kampong Tamoi Tengah and Tamoi Ujong, at the residence of the Village Head of Kg Tamoi Tengah and Tamoi Ujong, Awg Tarip bin Hj Asgar.

The fire extinguishers and related equipment were handed over by Awg Hj Mohammad bin Hj Sulaiman, Operation Commanding Officer Fire and Rescue Department, after a welcoming speech from the village head.

Awg Tarip expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Fire and Rescue Operations Branch who had provided fire control training to volunteers of the Fire and Rescue Volunteer Scheme of Kg Tamoi Tengah and Tamoi Ujong.

Having undergone the three-day training course, the volunteers can now use those skills in case of an emergency before the arrival of the Fire and Rescue teams to the scene in the village.

Awg Tarip also expected the Fire and Rescue Volunteer Scheme to provide assistance in case of emergencies or disasters at the village.

Also present to witness the ceremony was the Penghulu of Mukim Tamoi, Pengarah Hj Mokti bin Mat Salleh, Deputy Station Officer Awg Jafar bin Hj Jaya and Public Relations Officer of Operations Branch 'D', ABKS 559 Rustam Efandi bin Hj Metusin.
