Bandar Seri Begawan - A Total of 273 Pre-U2 General Paper students from the Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College yesterday attended a talk by the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC), as part of the efforts to expose the students to the judicial system in Brunei, as well as to give the students an understanding of the different courts and their roles.
Representatives from AGC were DPP Christopher Ng, Counsel and Deputy Public Prosecutor; DPP Lisa Chan Ching Kee, Counsel and Deputy Public Prosecutor and DPP Hjh Atiyyah Azzahra POKLDSDSLJ Hj Abas, Legal Officer and Deputy Public Prosecutor.
The students who attended the talk at the college are currently studying the topic of Crime and Punishment, which is part of the 'A' Level General Paper syllabus.
Other aims of the talk were to provide the students with an insight into the structure and the roles of the Attorney-General's Chambers, as well as to allow the students to link what they have learnt in class to the information shared during the talk.
