Bandar Seri Begawan - Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries held a thanksgiving ceremony yesterday to celebrate its 21st anniversary at the Pengiran Muda Abdul Mateen Mosque in Kampong Mulaut. A mass Sunat Hajat prayer was performed, followed by a thanksgiving prayer and a Surah Yaasiin recital.

Present as guest of honour at the function was Pg Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Mohammad Pg Hj Abdul Rahman, the Minister of Religious Affairs in his capacity as Advisor to Perbadanan TAIB's Board of Directors. Also present were members of the Syariah Advisory Committee and more than 100 staff members from all three institutions under Perbadanan TAIB.

The guest of honour presented a wakaf to the mosque in the form of a hearse, several hundred copies of Surah Yassiin and other necessities.

The ceremony came to a close with orphans of Mukim Kilanas receiving donations from Perbadanan TAIB, which were presented by the guest of honour.
