Bandar Seri Begawan - A vietnamese man, aged 25, was produced in court yesterday for allegedly having committed theft but the charge was put on hold as the defendant needed interpretation in his mother tongue.

Senior Magistrate Lailatul Zubaidah Hussin fixed November 20, 2012 for further mention of the case with a Vietnamese interpreter to read the charge to Le Dinh Chinh.

The defendant is alleged to have stolen cable wires belonging to Chung & Hiew Electric Company at Jalan Menglait at about 2am on November 13, 2012.

DPP Dk Nurul Pg Rosli also applied for the adjournment for the police to locate three other accomplices still at large.
