Bandar Seri Begawan - Students of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Girls Arabic Secondary School (SUAMPRIPAD) yesterday staged various religious performances in conjunction with Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) birthday anniversary celebrations.

To enliven the occasion, student representatives from Year 7 to Year 11 entertained those present with Dikir and Rawi recitals as well as Nasyid and Tausyeh performances.

Held at the school's main hall, the event also included a farewell and appreciation ceremony for seven officers and teachers of the school.

Principal Ustazah Hjh Haryati binti Hj Ahmad in her opening remarks expressed her sincere appreciation and gratitude to the officers for their invaluable contribution to the school.

She presented tokens of appreciation to Cikgu Hakimuddin Waheeduddin, Cikgu Hj Mukram bin Hj Booty, Cikgu Nur Hafizah bind Mohiddin, Ustazah Hjh Seri Suhana Hj Md Daud, Ustazah Hjh Rozi Juliana binti Hj Osman, Ustazah Dk Nisrein Syahidah bind Pg Burut and Dayang Joehana binti Hj Sulaiman.

Meanwhile, Cikgu Hakimuddin, who has been teaching for more than 20 years in the Sultanate, thanked His Majesty's Government for entrusting him with the responsibility of teaching mathematics in government schools.
