Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience ministers, deputy ministers and heads of delegation from respective countries attending the 5th East Asia Ministerial Forum on Families, at the Istana Nurul Iman. Brunei Darussalam is playing host to the international forum.

The forum, which carries the theme 'Ensuring Work Family Balance' focusses on discussions, the sharing of experience with regards to family affairs, and also the strengthening of relationships in order to build a strong family institution in the Southeast Asian region.

The three-day forum, which is being held at The Empire Hotel & Country Club, commenced yesterday.

Also in attendance at the Istana Nurul Iman were the Minister Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Laila Diraja Dato Seri Setia Awg Hj Hazair bin Hj Abdullah, and his Deputy, Datin Paduka Hjh Adina binti Othman.
