Bandar Seri Begawan - Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School (SUAMPRIPAD) held an appreciation ceremony recently for winners of the 35th Jawi Writing Competition for Religious and Arabic Schools.

The school was represented by Nurlina Shazlina bind Ali and Norazela binti Tali who emerged as champions in categories G and H respectively. Meanwhile, Siti Nuramalina Zafirah bind Dzulkifli finished as runner-up in category F.

The students were guided and supervised by Ustaz Rahim Hj Idris. Organised by the Department of Religious Education, the competition was aimed at showcasing students' talent and creating interest in the art of Jawi writing in the country.
