Bandar Seri Begawan - Standard Chartered Bank is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Eliza Abdullah as Head of Business Banking.
In her new role, Eliza will be responsible for driving the growth of the bank's expanding 'Business Banking' business that focuses on growing and developing SMEs and Corporates throughout Brunei. Standard Chartered Bank offers a full range of solutions for this segment of the market, from managing working capital to growing businesses, protecting it whilst increasing yield.
Meanwhile, according to a press statement, Lim Yu Kwang, previous Head of Business Banking has been appointed General Manager, High Value Segments that oversees both Priority Banking and Business Banking.
Lai Pei-Si, CEO of Standard Chartered Bank said, "We are delighted to have Eliza on board to head up Business Banking and are positive that her extensive experience will contribute towards its overall success. Throughout the years, we have seen our Business Banking segment grow positively and we must have had progress in this area. We wish Eliza all the best in her new role".

Eliza joined Standard Chartered Bank in November 2009 as Chief Financial Officer and has previously worked in similar positions in various industries covering insurance, publishing, engineering and travel. She is also passionate about the environment and has been the Environment Champion for Standard Chartered Bank, Brunei from 2010 to present.
