Bandar Seri Begawan - With the festive mood still in the air, the Authority for Info-Communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) yesterday hosted a Hari Raya open office.
Held at the AITI building in Anggerek Desa, the Hari Raya celebration was attended by all stakeholders of AITI.
The guest of honour was Dato Paduka Hj Awang Alaihuddin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Lela Dato Seri Utama Hj Awang Mohamad Taha, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Communications and chairman of AITI.
Also present were Awang Abdul Mutalib bin POKSSDP Hj Mohd Yusof, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Communications as well as foreign diplomats and staff of the Ministry of Communications, companies that were registered under AAB and ICTAB, TelCos representatives, ICT industry, amateur radio clubs, dealers, media partners and others.
The theme of this year's celebration was 'AITI Ceria'. In relation with the theme, there were several carnival games, a magic' show by Nadzri, a comic act by the infamous Keluarga 69 and also a karaoke session for guests.
This was AITI's way of saying 'thank you' to all stakeholders who have worked closely with AITI and to media partners who helped to highlight AITI in any form of publication and organisations that have collaborated with AITI.
