St John's School Holds Open Day

Kuala Belait - St John's school in the Belait District hosted an open day for its kindergarten section. The event took place at the school's multi-purpose hall attended by parents and the public.

The main objective of the open day was to showcase the talents of the school's kindergarten students in performing art and roleplay.

At the same time, the school also exhibited colourful and creative works of the children.

Roleplay was introduced to the students in order for them to gain general knowledge especially through famous leaders and their contributions to the nation.

One of the Year 3 students, Aeeryl Shafiyyullah bin Hj Khairul portrayed the 28th Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien III whereby students were able to gain knowledge through his autobiography.

St John's School is also dedicated to improving students' speech development and public speaking skills through the performing arts and roleplay.
