Bandar Seri Begawan - With the school term for 2012 having come to a close, the Sports School in Berakas invited several career opportunities organisations and higher education institutions to deliver talks to assist school leavers in choosing the suitable career path for the future.

Organised by the Best Practices Department led by Cikgu Dk Dewi Erma Pg Suhaili, the event was part of the school's Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM), which received overwhelming response from parents in terms of caring about their children's welfare.

The invited speakers were from the Department of Economic Planning and Development (JPKE), the Prime Minister's Office, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. (RBAF, the Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Institute of Health Sciences (PAPHRSB IHS), UBD, and Cosmopolitan College.

Each organisation delivered their talks in the Lecture Theatre in front of parents and students, and also displayed their "products" in the school area.

Among the objectives of holding the end-of-year event were to raise awareness and understanding amongst students on the career market, as well as to expose them to career opportunities in the market.
