Bandar Seri Begawan- Special stamps to commemorate the 51st anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) yesterday went on sale along with the First Day Covers at post offices nationwide. The sale was held simultaneously with the grand celebration held at the Royal Brunei Naval Base.

Sold in a one-day sale, yesterday, the Postal Services Department under the Ministry of Communications offered five unique designs at $2.50 a cover, while a. pack of First Day Covers carried a $3.15 price tag.

Along with the stamps, other commemorative items were also offered, including mats which were sold for $50; commemorative packs at $7; complete packs at $53.15; stamp booklets at $2.50 and stamp packs at $2 each.Interested parties can apply for a Standing Order Deposit Account (SODA) to acquire the latest release of stamp collections in the future.Further details may be obtained from the Stamp Gallery at the Main Post Office in Bandar Seri Begawan or through its hotline 2222191.
