Bandar Seri Begawan - Some 150 officers and staff of the Attorney General Chambers (AGC) yesterday afternoon attended its Israk Mikraj celebration at the Jubli Emas Hall, Law and Courts Building.

The event's guest of honour was Attorney General Datin Seri Paduka Hjh Hayati binti Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Dato Seri Paduka Hj Mohd Salleh.

Also present was YAM Pg Anak Hj Mohammed Al-Mokhtar bin YAM Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pg Anak Hj Abdul Aziz.

The event commenced with welcoming remarks by Pg Kamis bin Pg Metamin, Senior Administrative Officer at the AGC. It also featured a special lecture by Ustaz Hj Jufri bin Hj Hidup, the Mosque Affairs Officer from the Department of Mosque Affairs

According to the AGC, the celebratiOn is an important annual religious event, aimed at reflecting on Israk Miraj and its lessons, which can be taken as a reminder, inspiration and guidance.
