Bandar Seri Begawan - The Chery Q22 is a multi-functional minivan of the new generation fused together with the latest Mini-MPV design concepts of the world. The Q22 has a small and "cute" body but with a new grand exterior, which differs from the traditional minivan's compact space as it can carry both cargo and passengers and can easily travel across the busy and crowded urban areas.

The Q22 is equipped with the Chery's ACTECO engine, which is in line with leading European technology. ACTECO represents "hard power strength", and major power for "winning overseas markets by technology" and is steadily developing in overseas markets.

The Q22 is manufactured by means of the sedan production technology and enjoys safety, manoeuvrability, comfort and dynamic features superior to those of ordinary minivans.

With regard to its internal arrangement, Q22 features sedan-styled interior trimmings and instruments. Similar to ordinary minivans, its seats can be combined for flexible space and can be arranged as a five-seater or a seven-seater sedan.

Its two rear rows of seats can be folded completely to create a van-type truck. Safety performance is greatly improved by installation of two vertical metal beams and nine metal horizontal beams in chassis, six horizontal metal beams in the roof, anti-collision steel girder in four of its doors, energy-absorbing integral body structure, and four wheel disk brakes. It also comes with power steering.

Moreover, the Q22 is offered at a very affordable price of B$12,500 and currently comes in three different colours, namely Nasdaq Silver, Dark Iron Grey and Chery White.

The new manual transmission, 1.1-litre gasoline engines, Chery Q22 is imported and distributed by TCY Motors. The minivan also features both-side sliding doors, remote door opening, central locking system, power windows, front and rear fog lights, alloy rims, radio with CD player, front and rear air condition control switches among others. It will be officially launched on November 2, at the Kiarong Sentral Showroom.
