Bandar Seri Begawan - The Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic Boys Secondary School (SMALHB) held a cross country race yesterday, marking the start of their sports week for this year. The event, which saw the participation of the school's teachers, staff and students, was launched by the school's acting principal, Ustazah Hjh Norjainah binti Hj Buntar.

The cross country race was preceded by a group warmup exercise. The race was divided into four categories: male teachers and staff, female teachers and staff, male students and female students.

The event aimed to increase the school's sportsmanship and also to strengthen the relationship amongt the students, teachers and staff Other events lined up for the sports week include futsal, table tennis, netball, and track and field events.

The sports week will continue until November 22.
