Bandar Seri Begawan - Sayyidina Husain Secondary School (SM Sayyidina Husain) is cuurently organising a four-day camp for its students which started on November 19 and will end today.
Among the objectives of the programme are to cultivate high morals and good values among all students and to build the self-esteem and confidence of students.
Forty students were selected to join the 'Penerapan Nilai Murni' camp.
The event began with the registration of the participants, which was followed by the mass recitation of Surah AlFatihah led by Ustaz Husain bin Liman.
The event proceeded with a short welcoming speech from the school's Deputy Principal in Administration, Cikgu Umar bin Hj Ramlee.
The programme then continued with ice-breaking sessions in which the students were divided into four groups. Once the ice breaking sessions ended, the participants attended the 'Penerapan Nilai Murni' (instilling pure moral values) session with Cikgu Sharidah as the facilitator.
This was then followed with other activities throughout the day such as preparing their lunch and dinner.
In the evening, participants were brought to the Al-Islah Centre where they learned the dangers of taking drugs as well as the penalties imposed for drugs consumption and possession.
