Bandar Seri Begawan - The Takmir Committee of Setia Ali Mosque, Pekan Muara held two events marking the new 1434 Hijrah and the return of Haj pilgrims.

Present as the guest of honour was Awang Hj Jamain bin Momin, Brunei-Muara District Officer.

Prayers for end of year 1433 Hijrah and new 1434 Hijrah was led by Ak Hj Md Salleh bin Pg Hj Zakaria, Mosque Affairs Officer Zone 2.

The ceremony concluded with Dikir Marhaban led by Imam Pg HI Rusman bin Pg Hj Shahbudin and Doa Selamat recited by Ak Hj Md Salleh.

Also present at the ceremony were Penghulu Mukim Serasa, Major (Rtd) Hj Johari bin Haji Abdul Razak; Data Paduka Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Kahar, Advisor of Setia Ali Mosque Takmir Committee, Pekan Muara; the village heads and residents around Pekan Muara.
