Bandar Seri Begawan - Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) Brunei, Lai Pei-Si sees the Year of the Snake as another challenging year, especially economically and strategically.

The CEO spoke in a brief interview during the Chinese New Year open house held at her residence in Kg Sungai Besar.

Guests included government officials, customers, prominent local business figures, business partners and friends as well as members of the diplomatic corps.

Lai Pei-Si wished the bank's customers and Chinese community a great, healthy and prosperous year of the snake.

This year marks the second CNY open house Pei-Si hosted since she took up the post of CEO of SCB Brunei.

Members of the bank's management team greeted and mingled with the guests who enjoyed the buffet and were entertained with a live music performance by local artist Fakhrul Razi.
