Bandar Seri Begawan - Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) in partnership with the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB) yesterday hosted the ninth in a series of free business workshops that will run monthly until April 2013.
The workshop, entitled "The Importance of Staff Engagement", was held at the iCentre in Anggerek Desa.
Roshdy Malek, Head of Human Resources for Support Functions, Group Technology and Operations, Standard Chartered Malaysia said, "I am delighted to be in Brunei and to share insights and best practices around Standard Chartered Bank's staff engagement. People are the heart of organisations and it is crucial to that they are highly engaged to ensure an effective, motivated and driven team."
Roshdy Malek was on hand to facilitate the ninth workshop yesterday.
Standard Chartered Bank and the Brunei Economic Development Board signed a collaborative agreement in December 2011 that officiated their partnership to support the development of Brunei's Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
The next workshop in the series will be held on November 9.
