S Korea's K-Pop Artistes To Perform In KL

Bandar Seri Begawan - K-Pop fans from Brunei will have the opportunity to witness and have their dreams realised as Malaysia will be hosting the Samsung GALAXY 27th Golden Disk Awards in Kuala Lumpur (GDA).

The event will be held on January 15 to 16 at the Sepang International Circuit.

The GDA is the one and only South Korean awards ceremony based upon the total sales of discs and digital music files, bringing in over 20 groups of world-famous K-POP artistes to perform on stage for fans in Kuala Lumpur aside from the awards ceremony.

The nominee list includes - PSY, Big Bang, Super Junior, KARA, T-ara, CNBlue, FT Island, Infinite, BAP, EXO, Beast, 4 Minute, SISTAR, Secret, B1A4, Epik High, 2NE1, BUSKER, Miss.A, SHINEE, K-will, Ailee, MBlaq and Girl's Generation.

The awards will fan into the two classifications of Album and Song awards and the award categories including the Grand Prize in Disk Album, Disk Album of The Year, Grand Prize in Song of The Year, Song of The Year, The Most Popular K-Pop Star, MSN Southeast Asia Award, MSN International Award, New Rising K-Pop Star Award, Best Hip Hop Award, Single Album of The Year.

Tickets to the event are available in two tiers, priced at RM688 and RM999, and both will be for access on January15 to 16. The Golden Disk Awards was founded in 1986 and often referred to as the Grammy Awards of Korea; it is South Korea's most prestigious K-Pop music awards show and is presented annually for outstanding achievements in the music industry.
