Bandar Seri Begawan - To celebrate the 53rd anniversary of the Fire and Rescue Department, more than 100 fire fighters personnel took part in a special run organised by the Operation 'F' Branch yesterday.

Held at the Operation 'F' Branch of Pengkalan Batu Fire and Rescue station, the special run was attended by the commanding officer of Operation 'F' Branch, Senior Supt Awang Hj Janaidi bin Gunong.

The 5.3km run which started and finished at the station participated by personnel from Jerudong Fire and Rescue station, Tumasek Fire and Rescue station, Istana Nurul Izzah Fire and Rescue Station and Special Safety Control Unit of Istana Nurul Iman.

Prior to the run, the participants kick-started the aerobic warm-up session conducted by assistant station officer Jefri bin Said from the Physical Training Unit.
