Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send messages of congratulations to Truong Tan Sang the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Nguyen Tan Dung, the Prime Minister of Vietnam, as well as the Government and people of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the occasion of Vietnam's 67th National Day.

In the message to Truong Tan Sang, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, His Majesty expressed his satisfaction over the long-standing relations with Vietnam and looked forward to the pleasure of working closely with him in enhancing the warm friendship and excellent cooperation shared by the two countries, both bilaterally as well as in the region.

In ending the message to Truong Tan Sang, His Majesty extended his kindest regards and very best wishes for the continued good health and happiness of the Vietnamese President as well as the progress and prosperity of the people of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

In the message to Nguyen Tan Dung, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, His Majesty much appreciated the warm friendship enjoyed by the people of Brunei Darussalam and Vietnam and the close cooperation between the two countries in the two decades since the establishment of diplomatic ties, and looked forward to the many opportunities to enhance these valuable relations in the years ahead.

In ending the message to Nguyen Tan Dung, His Majesty extended his kindest regards and best wishes for the continued good health and prosperity of the Vietnamese Prime Minister.
