Bandar Seri Begawan - The RECO or Revolution Eco-System product made by Jefri Bolkiah Engineering College, Kuala Belait received overwhelming response and attention from the public, especially school students, during the recent exhibition held in conjunction with the 22nd Teacher's Day celebration at the International Convention Centre in Berakas.
According to Awg Zulfadlie, a student of the college, the product was produced by the Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Department of Jefri Bolkiah College as part of their final year project.
Teachers from primary schools in the country brought their pupils to visit and witness the exhibition.
A teacher from Bukit Panggal Primary School, Tutong said the educational visit served to expose young pupils to new ideas and experiences.
Most of the pupils were very excited to have a closer look at the locally made products displayed in the exhibition, she added. They also witnessed the handmade traditional toys, normally used by children in the past, such as a roller stick (made of wood and tin cover).
Other schools also showcased their respective products.
